Khun Charn Flower requires pictures in Bangkok’s infamous Pat Pong.

I’ve recognized him for years and a number of months ago I asked if I could take a number of pictures of him, they are also in this set. Charn gave me a number of minutes to photo his arms and go by way of the regular &quotpointed finger underneath the chin&quot poses.

I showed him the images and also the comments / views / favourite notes members had left on flickr. His encounter lit up and took off his shirt and permitted us to see his &quotbodywork.&quot This design of tattoo are associated to Charn’s spiritual protectiion and were applied by monks at a temple bashing a three foot long needle with a small hammer into his skin, getting to re-dip the tip in a pot of ink every two or 3 taps of application.

All the although I took his photograph Charn mentioned, in Thai, &quotI am an old guy, I am now an old man.&quot 55 isn’t old pal. However it could make clear why he rides a large Harley Davidson motorbike.
